Valentines day can be a very stressful day for any couple. Pressure to do something special can be high. However it doesn’t have to be stressful or expensive. The following ten cute ideas for valentines day, are easy to do even at the last minute.

Why not make them heart shaped toast for breakfast. For the more adventurous you could try making heart shaped cookies or cakes. If you don’t want to make them yourself there are certain to be heart shapes goods available from your local bakery.

Write a love note from the heart and then leave it where your sweetheart can find it. Put it on his or her pillow, put it in their purse or wallet, the dashboard of the car. Make sure it is somewhere that they will find it at some point during the day. Trust me the surprise and shock value of this simple idea costs nothing will be very much appreciated.
3. Rose petal bed.
Decorate the bedroom with rose petals, or little paper hearts, or a combination. The wow factor is what you are going for so don’t hold back, make it look impressive. Remember that the tidying up afterwords is part of this gift too.
4. Romantic Bath.
Draw your loved one a nice hot bath as a surprise, make sure the room is romantic. Liberal use of scented candles, dimmed lighting, plus a glass of their favorite drink, will help to set the mood. 5. Cute actions or gestures.
Why not perform a sensual dance for them, or serenade them under their bedroom window. If they travel to work by train try and get a station announcement made declaring your love for them. This is especially good if you can’t be with your loved one on Valentines day. Before the day write a series of short romantic or sexy messages, then on the Vday text them to your lover at intervals throughout the day. You can just do it on the day if you like, but I feel a little preparation beforehand will give you time to make the messages all the more special or significant.
7. Create the mood.
If you are spending the evening at home, play some romantic music, dim the lights, light scented candles. You can always cook something special, or simply order a takeout and present it as a meal with a bottle of wine. Get dressed up as if you were going out. Create a romantic mood and have a date to remember at home.
8. Recreate a memorable date.
Why not recreate a date you went on when you met. Book the same restaurant and eat the same meal. Even try to arrange the same table.Spend the night not only remembering the past but looking to the future too.
9. Give them your time.
Take the day off, and tell your partner that your time is theirs. Turn off your cell phone, don’t check your e-mail. Just spend the day together. Take a day away from everything except each other. Often the most valuable gift you can give is your time.

Get a T-shirt printed with “I Love (your boyfriend/girlfriend’s name)” and wear it all day.
